Who wants to be a princess when they have been a queen for centuries?
Matriarchal societies still exists on every continent – except for Europe. What past and present forms of living together exist that are not mentioned in the patriarchal-western narrative? And what future options result from these concepts of gender and family? Queens is an interdisciplinary and intersectional theater evening that gets to the heart of these questions.
